Jeff Scott
RPT, KIN, CAFCI, MCPA
Jeff Scott, originally from London, Ontario graduated from the University of Waterloo in Kinesiology and then pursued a degree in physiotherapy at McMaster University. He then moved to Corpus Christi, Texas where he worked as a clinical director of several outpatient physiotherapy clinics and furthered his education in manual therapy at the University of Augustine in Florida.
Jeff and his family moved back to Ontario and opened their own physiotherapy clinic in May of 2002. Great Lakes Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine has had great success in treating many people with injuries ranging from motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, as well as everyday aches and pains. Jeff uses manual therapy skills very effectively in the treatment of both joint and myofascial dysfunctions and has also specialized in the treatment of vestibular dysfunction (dizziness), joint pain and temporomandibular fibromyalgia.
Jeff also a certified acupunturist, joined forces with Dr. Dan Wilhelmus to form The Ontario Spinal Institute, specializing in spinal decompression. They have had great success in treating chronic and acute spinal problems and look forward to working with future clients.
Dr. Dan Wilhelmus attended local public schools before
going to MacMaster University for a degree in
Biology. He then attended Canadian Memorial Chiropractic
College in Toronto and graduated with the "Clinicians
Award" in 1995. He has been practicing chiropractic
in the Simcoe area since graduating. He opened
a satellite office in Port Rowan in 2003. Dr.
Dan has done additional qualifications in several
forms of adjusting, including Torque Release instrument
adjusting, hands-on diversified adjusting, Toggle
Recoil and Thompson adjusting techniques. Dr.
Dan enjoys singing barbershop music (much to the
delight of his wife Jeanne), woodworking, golf
and challenging (and losing to) his 3 children
at Wii tennis.
Julie grew up in the Ottawa Valley, Renfrew, ON. , before moving to Hamilton, ON where she finished her high school years. Julie then completed her Radio-Broadcasting diploma at Mohawk College in Hamilton and became a Copy-writer. Julie also continued to go back to Mohawk College and receive her Personal Trainers certificate and is am certified with CPTN.
After realizing that copy-writing was not her calling and she much preferred personal training and working with people, Julie went back to Everest College for physiotherapy where she graduated as a PTA with honors.
Julie joined Ontario Spinal Institute in Oct of 2008
Julie enjoy’s boxing, which she does with her daughter and being her son’s quiet hockey mom
Julie currently resides in York, ON with her husband Tim and two children
